get to know me

With more than 25 years behind the camera and 15 years as an educator, I bring more than photography to every project. My clients hire me because I help them see the bigger picture—clarifying their story, creating meaningful imagery, and developing a strategy to help them move forward with confidence.

Hello, I’m Juli

Behind the Lens

Greg Putnam

She has a real talent for telling stories through pictures, which makes it easy for us to use her images across our social posts, website, and other brand materials."

Raven's Frame Photography has been an incredible partner for Little Belt Cattle Co.

Heidi Putnam

The whole process was painless, easy, and actually enjoyable. I’m so grateful to have photos that finally feel like me and help tell the story of my business."

Juli was able to understand what makes me “me” without making the photos feel forced or overly staged.

Bill Parry

Her work has elevated our brand and showcased our properties. We highly recommend Juli to anyone looking for exceptional photography and social media services."

Juli has a remarkable eye for detail and a genuine passion for helping her clients succeed.

Caitlin Gambee

She has worked with us multiple times on food photography, lifestyle images, and general hotel branding - and each time I think “why did I not do this sooner?!”

Not only are Juli’s images incredible - but she is so easy to work with.

Her formal photography training paired with her natural eye means every image is thoughtful, beautiful, and something we treasure. She has a way of finding the light, the feeling, and the small in-between moments that turn into our most meaningful photos."

Juli has documented some of the most vulnerable and pivotal moments in our family’s story.
